# Wallet safety

> Checks for external-wallet connections, approvals, and transactions.

Before signing:

1. Verify the exact origin is `https://cooket.fun`.
2. Confirm Arc Testnet and chain ID `5042002`.
3. Confirm the intended wallet address and transaction target.
4. Distinguish 18-decimal native USDC from 6-decimal canonical ERC-20 USDC.
5. Review gross input, fee, expected output, minimum output, deadline, and any refund.
6. For ERC-20 approvals, verify the spender is the token's canonical curve or the manifest-derived SwapRouter and that the amount is expected.
7. Preserve submitted hashes and inspect them on [ArcScan](https://testnet.arcscan.app).

Cooket uses external user-controlled wallets. The API does not need your private key, seed phrase, wallet export, or approval signature. Never provide those to support or paste them into a bug report.

Use a test wallet and conservative testnet balances when interacting with unfamiliar tokens. Do not assume token metadata, a social link, or a visible market makes a launch trustworthy.
